Paul Fecteau works as a special investigator and serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.

Paul earned an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Wichita State University in 1997 after completing a thesis of short fiction titled Earthbound Spirits. His undergraduate work was completed at Kansas State University where he won the 1990 Touchstone Short Fiction Award.

Paul has regularly published stories in small press 'zines. His work appeared in the softcover anthologies Rare (Disc-Us Books, 2001) and Darkness Rising (Prime Books, 2003).  The March 2007 issue of The Project for a New Mythology included his story “Jenny Darkness.”

Most of Paul’s recent writing has been nonfiction dealing with unsolved murders.
